We’re back with another TRIBE gathering you don't want to miss!
Join us for Women Entrepreneurs Hour on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Schoolhouse for an inspiring chat about Growth & Evolution in life & business with Elissa Nauful.
Elissa is the Founder & CEO of BallywhoSocial. Her company's mission is simple: to create social solutions & to inspire authentic connections. They strive to authentically connect renowned brands with their ideal clients by intentionally creating an engaging social presence.
Get your tickets here & read on for the details!
Elissa was born to Betty and Eli, two SC natives who moved her and her two sisters all over the southeast and Europe before settling in her Dad’s hometown of Columbia, SC. She finished middle & high school there, and then bolted to Clemson University for college (the in-state college that was the farthest away from Columbia!) and graduated with a degree in Marketing.
After graduating Elissa got a job working for CBS and NBC television affiliates from Toccoa, GA to Tampa, Florida. But when she turned 30, she said "enough", quit and started her first business. She'll tell you she had no idea what she was doing, but her ego, drive, dedication, and one cache client who believed in her made her successful.
Around 2009, she realized Facebook was "on to something". She understood early on that marketing departments in other organizations were to need help figuring out Facebook (and social media), so she decided to build a company around it. And BallywhoSocial was born.
After a lot of lessons learned, coupled with tremendous client success, and growing pains (...and a whole list of other things that are best discussed over cocktails) BallywhoSocial was booming, but she had to make some big changes personally.
In 2013, she packed her bags, and kids, Eliott, now 18 and Lauren, now 16, and moved from Tampa, FL to Mt. Pleasant, SC, relocating her business & her life.
"I owe the success of Ballywho to the AMAZING women who have helped in certain stages, either by lessons learned, or support, and the loyal and dedicated effort to the vision. It is also a nod of gratitude to our truly fantastic clients who are the biggest cheerleaders of all. We are so fortunate and we are growing this year into a different company, one more aligned with who we grow into."
When Elissa is not working she loves yoga, walking when it isn’t too hot, traveling, wine and great food, family and friends. (Our kind of gal!)
Fun Fact: Elissa is also mom to too many kittens; Sherlock, Dr. Watson, Reese and Remley!
